Advantages: Great as part of a diet, once you change to these you'll not eat real chips again

Disadvantages: None

The best "Chips" in the world and not a chip pan in sight.

Ingredients:
Large Potatoes
Fry Light cooking oil spray (other brands are available)
Salt and pepper or other additives (chili flakes etc)

Method:
Peel and wash around 1 large potato per person.
Cut them into "Chips", either big and chunky or smaller like fries.
Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add the chips.
Bring back to the boil and cook for 3 minutes.
In the meantime, put on your oven and heat to 220 degrees celsius. Put an oven tray in the over to heat through (we use a pizza tray with the holes in).
Drain the water and leave the chips to stand.
Take the oven trays out and spray with the Fry Light, the place the chips onto the tray and spray again with the Fry Light.
Sprinkle the chips with salt, pepper or chilli flakes etc.

Return the tray to the oven and bake for around 20 mins or until golden brown.
You can vary the size and shape of your chips and also use the same method for roast spuds too.

Tell you one thing, you'll be binning the chip pan after you taste these.

Summary: That good, my kids won't eat anything else...

I cut mine into flat slices about 1/2 cm thick (like scallops), and turn half way through.

I do this as well and they are much lower in fat than normal oven chips as well.
