Advantages: Easy to make, sweet tasting

Disadvantages: can be time consuming

Its my 21st birthday today, and on thursday night I went to Chilli Whites to celebrate it with my friends.
Before that I had a homemade cocktail drinking session at my house. I bought rum, vodka, gin and archers. I also bought lots of fruit like kiwi, orange, lime, lemon, and strawberries.
I also bought mixers like tropical juice, pineapple juice, coke and lemonade.

The idea was that you were supposed to pick your fruit, your mixer and your alcohol. I made 2 punches incase people couldnt be bothered doing this.

The first was a mixture of vodka watermelon mix, 3 shots gin, 4 shots vodka, 1 shot rum and pineapple juice with a dash of lemonade. Then add lemon, lime and banana.

The second was 3 shots archers, 3 shots vodka, 1 shot rum. Tropical juice, and add banana, lemon, lime and kiwi.

These tasted great, they were sweet, and the alcohol was just enough so that you can taste it but not be overwhelmed. These should be made in a medium sized bowl, and make sure theres plenty of cups and a ladel to stop things getting messy!

It doesnt need to be expensive alcohol, I got the vodka and gin from morrisons, they came to a total of £16 for 2 70L bottles, and theres still gin left! The archers was £10.99 from my local corner shop.

A good night was had by all and hopefully when my suggestion goes through there will be a review of the bar where I had real cocktails!

Summary: I had a great time
