Advantages: Fairly quick, Easy to cook, delicious
Disadvantages: May take a while to find level of chilli you like
I love chille, and ever since I found this recipe, I make it every week. I wanted to share it, so here it is. Ingrediants 400g/1lb beef mince (as little fat as possible) 1 Onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic (or i tsp garlic puree) 400g tinned tomatoes 400g tinned Kidney Beans 1tsp chilli powder (or more/less to taste) 2 tbp oil Salt & Pepper Heat oil in large saucepan and fry garlic and onions till onions are slightly transluscent. Put in mince and brown (takes about 10 mins depending on frozen state of mince) Once mince is browned all over, put in tinned toms, chilli powder and season. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Then put in the Kidney beans, seaon again if you want and simmer for another 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Serve with rice (or chips!) That's it!! Cheap, easy, yummy. This recipe will serve 4 people, ot two very hungry people with a third of a serving to freeze for later (that's what we do, anyway). Defrosted it's still gorgeous, and only takes about 20mins in the microwave (depending on rating and power). So, cook and enjoy.
