Advantages: Easy to make, and the kids can help

Disadvantages: Quite sloppy

This recipe is easy to make. Its a good one to get the kids to help with, and they seem to like eating it too. It's got chicken in, but you could leave that out if you don't eat meat, and it would still taste good.

Ingredients
==========
100g tortilla chips (value ones are fine)
100g cheese (I like mature cheddar)
½ courgette (or some other random vegetable!)
200g chicken breast (you could leave this out if you're not a meat eater)
chicken spices (I use Shwartz - it's paprika, parsley, salt, pepper)
A tin of baked beans
A tin of chopped tomatoes

Actually this sounds like its going to be foul. Its nice, honest!

Method
=======
Crush the tortilla chips (that's the bit that the kids really like; it's less messy if you put the chips in a bag)
Dice the chicken and fry it in the spices
Grate the cheese
Dice the courgette
Mix the beans, tomatoes, chicken & courgette.
Put 1/2 the mixture in a casserole dish. Then put half the chips in a layer on top. Then half the cheese. Repeat the layers (sauce, chips, cheese).

Then bake at 180C for 30 minutes.

Summary: Good 'store cupboard' recipe
