This is an old-fashioned (adapted) recipe my friends love on cold winter nights. It is also good the day after a party, to recover...

It is very filling and nutritive, easy and quick to prepare (though you will have to leave it cooking for a while).

Ingr:

-Onion, garlic
-Oil
-Chicken (I use about 2 pieces per person)
-Chicken stock (or gravy, Bisto...)
-Salt, pepper, oregan
-A handful of oats
-Potatoes
-Pasta shapes
-Peas (carrots, sweetcorn...)
-2 packets of soup

Prep:

Preheat oil. Chop onion and garlic. Fry with diced potatoes and chicken till brown. Fill with chicken stock/water.Reduce power. Add soup packets, oats, salt, pepper and oregan... Cook for about 1/2 hour or 40 min (chicken should be well done, not food poisoning here). Then add pasta shapes, cook for another 15 min. At the last minute, incorpore peas (carrots, sweetcorn...).
Ready to eat!
