Takes 5 mins to prepare and even less to cook!

Ok, so how often have you sat there wondering what on earth you can eat that doesn't take forever, cost the earth and you don't need to go out and buy the ingredients.

Why do you normally get that feeling late at night when it's too late to start 'faffing' about in the kitchen.

Ok, so here's the answer.

'BREAD BIN' PIZZA

INGREDIENTS

Slice of bread (pref thick white)
1-2 tomatoes (depending on size)
bit of sliced cheese (strong)
Italian seasoning

1. Toast one side of the bread fully under the grill, turn over and half toast that side.

2. Place sliced tomatoes on this side (I usually microwave these first so they are soft but you could grill them instead) and place cheese on top.

3. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top of the cheese and place under a hot grill until bubbling.

There you have it!

The Italian seasoning really does make this taste like a mini-pizza.

You could always add a little sliced onion or if you have any other favourite veg!

It's even better if you halve a french stick but cook it in the oven instead on about 200 deg for 5 mins or so.

Happy Eating!

This is so handy, and something I do all the time. I use tomato purée instead of real ones, though (ahem... it doesn't go mouldy in the fridge!!). If you're feeling really Italian, try using ciabatta - lovely!!
