My weird combinations !! (Sandwich)

Advantages: Sarnies are easy to make and perfect when you work shifts.

Disadvantages: I get loads of beetroot on my fingers and always seems to fall on my boobs and stain them too!!!!

I work shifts so I have sandwiches quite often, most frequently the normal or more poular types of sandwich fillings such as ham salad, tuna and cucumber, egg mayo etc.

But my favourites are the following;

You are all going to say yuck!!!

But my absolute fave sandwich is corned beef and beetroot, don't ask me why, as its really not practical it makes the bread go a purpley sort of colour and can stain your fingers BUT despite all this I love them, I started on these sandwiches when I was pregnant with my son and its stuck with me, spam and beetroot is yummy too.

Chicken and stuffing..... I always save the scrap bits of chicken and stuffing on a sunday and then tend to have them in a sandwich, baguette or pitta on a monday for work, its really yummy and at work we are quite lucky and have a pannini press, so I sometimes use this also, especially in the winter when you want something abit warmer than a sandwich and after a month of soup i get a bit bored with it. A lot of my collegues have started using those toaster bags they seem to be very handy.

And last but not least bannana and honey sandwiches, have had these sandwiches since i was a child and i still love them and so do my kids.
In the winter I make the banana and honey sandwich with winter bread/malt loaf and it tastes yummy.

I'm not sure why I wrote this review, I think it was more to find out if people thought my sandwiches were as distgusting as my hubby thinks they are, he hates corned beef and spam, but being a girl that came from a big family that did not have much money we tended to eat a lot of corned beef and spam...hehe!!! he comes from a posher family!!!hehe.

Summary: We all have different tastes, thats why sarnies are good, as can be anything you want them to be!!
