Cheese, cheese and more cheese (Sandwich)

Advantages: Cheaper than bought

Disadvantages: Don't always taste as good

I take my own sandwiches every day to work. I used to buy one but it was getting really expensive so I will have one every now and again as a treat. I often have to eat in my car on the move so it's important my sandwiches don't make too much mess.

I'm not fussy about what type of bread - just as long as it is fresh.

My favourite 6 fillings are

1. Ham and cheese - yes it's a simple one but the old ones are the best. I like nice thick ham and a good cheddar cheese.
2. Cheese and tomato - again a nice cheddar or red leceister is the best cheese. I like cherry tomatoes best as they are juicier.
3. Crunchy peanut butter - although these don't come to work they are yummy but they do have a tendency to stick to the top of your mouth.
4. Hummus with lettuce, pepers and olives - a bit fancy I know but it's very yummy. The garlic could overpower others so keep that in mind.
5. Prawn cocktail - very tasty and a nice treat.
6. Smoked salmon and cream cheese - this has to be bought as I can't do it justice myself.

I hate egg sandwiches - yuk yuk yuk.

Summary: The old favourite fillings are the best
