LG GRG227STBA ... have owned this fridge for 2 years and it is great. It s not as big as many of the other fridges of this type so it fits much better in the kitchen. I keep the temperature level for both fridge and freezer on 2 of a possible 5 which is enough to keep everything cold or forzen. The ice maker is great, particulkarly in the summer and it refils fairly quickly. The cold water dispenser is most often used and it is positioned such that my kids (7 & 9) can easily reach. The shelves are well positioned and the door racks are very handy. On the downside, the freezer compartment is slightly small as the ice maker takes up a bit of space. Hotpoint Future RF187B ... have had this fridge/freezer for two years now and I have to say I am very pleased with it overall. The fridge has a large capacity which is ideal for my family it has nice deep easy to clean shelves the door storage is execllent every it keeps all of my food lovely and cold too cold at times in fact. I purchased this fridge/freezer when I had my kitchen updated and am very pleased with its energy efficancy. The freezer is of a good size if you go shopping weekly but not so good if you have a large family and shop monthly. Hotpoint FZ175 Tall Freezer ... years ago, we were moving to our newly purchased home from our rented accomodation. Our rented house had come fully furnished, so with the exception of the baby furniture and a few other minor bits of equipment, we had to go a-hunting for things to furnish our new home with. Even at charity shop and second hand eBay prices, this would be terribly expensive, so I will hold my hand up and admit that after offloading all our unwanted clothes and "stuff" via Freecycle, I shamelessly accepted various goods that we needed.
