This is fantastic! A real stud of a fridge. To begin with, it's gorgeous, it's the american style, side by side..."But wait" I hear you cry, "They're a rip off!"...Well let me assure, it certainly isn't, this costs the same to run as any other fridge freezer (even those pokey teeny ones!), and the cost of the actual fridge is great, £500 for one of these beauties! Think of the look on the "Jones"-es face when they cop a look at this beast!
There is a beeper alarm when the fridge or freezer compartment has been left open, which is a must have when you have kids that love raiding it! There's a water (juice, cocktail!) cooler on the inside panel of the fridge, but you wouldnt know it, it takes up literally "zero" space, and there's a double ice cube tray with a deep tray to tip them into underneath (meaning you can batch freeze!!!) in the freezer, OK so it's not an automatic ice maker, but hey, who wants their fridge stuck in the same place forever, and plumbed into the mains, and all that ice starts blocking up if you dont use it.....realistically an ice cube tray is less exciting, but far more practical, and as it freezes the ice cubes within 15-30 mins, you can make up a huge batch of ice cubes if you must.
The control panel on the front of the freezer compartment includes, temperature control for both the fridge and the freezer seperately, a quick freeze option, and a quick cool option for the fridge (for those rare summer days when that cocktail simply HAS to be cool).
There's so much space in this aswell, I batch cook a month's worth of food for my family of 5 and it all fits in the freezer with room left over for snacks and ice creams etc.
There really isn't any end to the praise I can heap on this product, absolutely, definately one of my best buys yet!!!
What can I say about this fantastic product. Let's just put it this way, it's Huge. The new smell still greets you even after 3 months. The setting up and running of the fridge freezer is idiot proof. It was a case of plugging in and waiting a day for the gasses to settle properly then it was a rush to fill the thing. People used to either a bar fridge or an upright half and half are in for a plesent supprise. The space is incredable, you will notice an increase in your shopping bill. The temperature gauge on the front is simple to understand and the quick freeze and quick cool buttons are simple to operate. One nice feature is the alarm for people who forget to close the doors, and how wide the doors open as well. It is wide just under 90cm but I would recommend at least 100 if you dont want dents on your doors, people with kids will know what I mean. Overall a cheaper alternative to the more silly priced ones. And discounting the lack of water coooler or "on tap" electric ice cube maker( it has a two swing tray which makes 40 ice cubes in about 1/2 hour ). And you dont have the hassle of plumbing it in. I would recommend Beko to anyone .As requested I paid just over £450 from an online store and the shelves are very easy to remove and clean for those little misshaps. without the water dispencer the space inside the freezer section is about the same as a medium sized chest freezer, the fridge section is just smaller than the total size of a normal upright fridge freezer. as I said it'd huge, plenty of space come Christmas for your Turkey and beers and everything elce that needs a fridge freezer. We have kept our chest freezer as a back up for such times of year, but I can not forsee a need for it with this product.
