... more than we were expecting, we can fill the freezer with enough food to last a couple weeks although as there is only 2 of us it would be unrealistic to say it would do the same for a family. The actual fridge capacity is 4.8.cu.ft which is apparantly 138L gross capacity and 133L net capactiy and the freezer capacity is 2.2.cu.ft, 101L gross capacity and 62L net capacity. We brought this Beko fridgefreezer from Comet for £269.99. I have just had a look on the website and it is actually on sale right now for £249.99 with a years free cover so if you're interested then I would snap it up now :) I am very happy with this fridgefreezer, it is silver and actually looks really nice on the outside. The outside of it also wipes clean really easily so this is a bonus. We had four CDA 540 s in under four years. Looked brilliant. Fitted well. Good space. BUT all packed up completely around a year. First bought in 2006 but none were any better. Last one packed up in October 2010. All had structural faults which caused the breakdowns, e.g. mishapen freezer cabinet so seals didn't fix - burnt itself out; another split pipe at the back corroded the condenser - packed up; capillaries jammed inside the back so fridge full if ice at the top - packed up. We lost £200 of food, plus four times were left without any refridgeration for a week awaiting replacement. Beko unhelpful, to say the least and never admit any liability, even when they take 2 months to send an engineer under guarantee! Finally we found another make which fitted our space. No more Beko.
