With all of the restoration work in my house this year the most recent casualty has been my fridge freezer. Bought only a couple of years ago I was quite happy with my slim line Servis fridge freezer. That is until the plumbers broke one of the legs and despite our best efforts the builder covered the back of it in plaster which caused it to leak. Thankfully the insurers agreed to pay for a new fridge freezer and I set about looking for one that was in the same price range. I searched on-line and at a few stores before choosing. I decided that I did not want an all singing and dancing one and was still a little restricted by size. I decided that I wanted one ... Read the complete review

We bought this Beko fridge in 2008 and we've been really pleased with it. We originally chose it for a few reasons. We wanted a white fridge, not a silver one. We also liked that it had 4 freezer compartments as well as a seperate icecube tray. Another feature we liked was the water cooler on the front, which we thought we would probably get a lot of use of. The fridge arrvied from currys in good condition and was put in place buy their delivery people. It was ready to use straight away - literally just needed plugging in. As I mentioned before, we liked the water cooler on the front of the fridge and thought we would get a lot of ... Read the complete review

I first bought this Fridge through comet for £304 including bank holiday delivery and a years guarentee. Great features for the price with a water dispenser, two salad trays 3 shelves, and good ample 4 shelves in the freezer.Nice easy thermostat dial with 1-5 on it to trun the temperature accordingly.Guys from comet came and put it in really quick and within3 hours it was full of food. The frost free and auto defrost features help alot to leave the fridge to itself. The fridge looks fantastic in silver and has a good quality look to it,the plastic mechanism on the water dispenser feels a bit cheap but its abasic and does its job.refilling the water storage isnt a problem ... We purchased this fridge freezer for our last house from Comet about 15 months ago. We had seen it advertised at the reasonable price (if memory serves me right about £299). We were looking for a top and bottom appliance, white preferrably though i do remember seeing a similar model in silver, i just think white looks cleaner. The best "added feature" was of course the water cooler built into the front. It would of course have been nice to have this connected to a mains water supply, and I did find it was a little limiting on the glass size you could put under the tap. The freezer space was good, with 4 decent sized draws, the fridge was of a similar ... Read the complete review

I have had this item for some time now. I must admit not a terrible amount of thought went into it when i purchased it. My previous fridge freezer had finally packed in, bang in the middle of the hottest week of the year and i went online and brought it. i knew i wanted a freezer with the frost free option. this meant there was no build up of ice or frost and i never needed to defrost it! i wanted an energy efficient fridge but didn't want to pay through the nose for keeping green. and this was the first fridge meeting all those requirements. so i had it delivered as quickly as possible and i have had absolutely no problems with it. It's quiet and has always worked well. ... Read the complete review
