Great looking Fridge shame about the build quality (Beko CDA563FW)

Advantages: Lots of features,frost free water dispenser

Disadvantages: shoddy worksmanship made it unreliable

I first bought this Fridge through comet for £304 including bank holiday delivery and a years guarentee. Great features for the price with a water dispenser,two salad trays 3 shelves,and good ample 4 shelves in the freezer.Nice easy thermostat dial with 1-5 on it to trun the temperature accordingly.Guys from comet came and put it in really quick and within3 hours it was full of food. The frost free and auto defrost features help alot to leave the fridge to itself.The fridge looks fantastic in silver and has a good quality look to it,the plastic mechanism on the water dispenser feels a bit cheap but its abasic and does its job.refilling the water storage isnt a problem either just take the water container out and take the lid off and fill.Very easy

but here is where the problem started,after two months our fridge packed in,took two days for comet to come out.said that they would have it repaired within a week and that they had to order a part.Well the day before the day it was due to be repaired we had a phone call saying oh we cant get the part you will have to wait another ten days. this is during the middle of sumemr with no fridge.we asked for a refund as it ws only two months old ,only to be told well we cant because it will be fixed with in our 14 working day policy.(it was fixed on the 13th day funilly enough).Fridge works fine but not looking forward to next summer.Dont buy from comet,and spend an extra few pound on a more reliable Fridge
