Advantages: Small enough for most kitchens
Disadvantages: Needs defrosting
This Becko refrigerator is just the right size for the average kitchen. It looks quite standard, just all white and quite narrow, so it will blend in to any style of kitchen. It cost me £290 and I haven't had any problems with it apart from having to defrost it when we have had a particularly hot day or over stuff it.
It has an A energy rating so that's always good to know. It's a little bit narrower than the average fridge at 59.5 cm and the Height is 190.6 cm so if your looking for a big impressive fridge this isn't for you. it store a reasonable amount of food in the fridge compartment the amount they say is 6.2 cu.ft whatever that means. I just know that if I do an average shop all my food will fit in with a little room to spare.
The freezer capacity is 3.9 cu.ft I find it a little too small. If you have a large shop like at Christmas there is nowhere near enough room. And on a normal shop I find I have to jam the stuff in and that causes the freezer to over work and then the whole thing needs defrosting.
I wouldn't recommend this freezer because of the small capacity. But if you don't need much room then it's not the worst.
Summary: Good but a bit prone to frosting up.
