I've had a Beko Glacier now for about 10 years. During this time, it hasn't broken down but... The door seal is not very good - you have to push the fridge door closed quite hard. The freezer section is not much better. The plastic draws in the fridge section, and the fronts of the freezer shelves have broken a bit and care ... Read the complete review

My Beko fridge/freezer from Comet only lasted 1 year and 3 months to the day. At a cost of £350 its the worst electrical appliance I've ever had for reliability. Why are Comet stocking such poor quality products. Great features but stongly suggest you avoid.

bought from currys made in turkey broke in 18 months!! All the repairers I have spoken to have said they get loads of them to repair most between 6 months and 2 years old. currys after sales give misleading advice stating they wont do anything about it if they go wrong after 1 year and dont seem to understand the sale of goods act. dont buy any Beko product.

Beko Fridge freezer: not great, very uneven cooling in the fridge, warm and cold spots, ice down the back while the door shelves don't keep the milk cold so it goes off very quickly. cheap plastic interior cracked and hard to clean. water accumulation in the bottom. nice freezer on top though, very cold, frost free (mostly). I wouldn't buy a Beko next time though.

Have had my Beko for three years. First time broke down after 11 months so it got fixed for free. Now it broke down again. I'll just take it at the Dump as it only gave me head ache.
Summer time the fridge temperature can be hardly kept under
7 C (and this, only if you avoid to open the fridge door very often).
Water collects always at the bottom of the fridge - under the drawers. What a mess!
That taught me a BIG lesson: If you buy a Robin don't expect it to behave like a Rolls Royce!
I only bought it because it had a large freezer compartment. What a fool I was!

Beko after sales must be one of the worst. I have an American AP930 fridge freezer. The water dispenser leaks and the door needs replacing. I have had 6 engineer visits so far, 6 doors, one for a different appliance completely. One door was badly damaged, one was the wrong colour and now they just keep arriving. There are 3 doors in my hallway, ... Read the complete review

Comet PLC A big let Down...poor customer service Purchased a Beko Upright TZDA627FS Freezer in May 07 from Comet at Plymouth. When opening the top shelf unit the cover fell off due to a fault in the acrylic casting. Took the shelf back to the shop whereby they refused to replace the shelf. They stated that the shelf was not ... Read the complete review

Bought a Beko fridge/freezer on 17th Jan 07 from Currys. Last weekend it give up the ghost. It just went off, after making a loud gurgling noise. As it was in warranty, thought all I had to do was ring Curry's Support and that would be an engineer on his way. Sadly not the case. Beko's engineers didn't seem to take calls on Sundays. First ... I hope I am not tempting fate by saying this but I have not had any problems with this fridge/freezer in 4 1/2 years. I originally bought it because it was one of the cheapest frost free fridge freezers on the market back in 2000, and it was big enough to hold all my frozen pizzas and cans of coke (just kidding, of course there are green things ... We bought our Beko Glacier fridge freezer three and a half years ago. It's been good but there are some problems with it: It fills up with water at the bottom of the fridge, which is rather unpleasant and rots and fruit veg in the bottom baskets. The fridge door doesn't close very well - one really has to ensure that it ... Read the complete review

A fridge is hardly the most exciting appliance in the world, unless you are one of those lucky people who have just bought a huge stainless steel double beauty. A fridge/freezer is one of the modern necessities which has to take up valuable space in the kitchen. However we have come a long way from the days when my father dug a neat concreted ... How would you like a freezer that’s always so frozen over that getting anything in or out of it is a complete impossibility and a fridge that doesn’t get cold enough to keep your food fresh? No, don’t worry, this isn’t a description of my BEKO fridge/freezer, but the one it replaced. I moved house about a year ago ... Read the complete review

I guess, I can be called a "seasoned Beko owner", as I first bought my Beko fridge around 7 years ago. They were not not available in many shops then. I needed a small, complementary fridge, saw this BEKO with a good energy rating. It was an unknown brand, but with that price, I thought I could take the risk. It turned ... Read the complete review

Having just paid for a new car entirely on credit cards, de ol’ plastic’s been taking a bit of a bashing lately. “What’s this got to do with fridges?” I hear you cry. Well, our old faithful Hotpoint Iced Diamond larder fridge chose the precise day that the balance on the car was due, to become our old ... Read the complete review

Yesterday, my Hotpoint fridge freezer packed up! It gave me no warning. It just decided it had had enough after 8 years of keeping my food nice and cold. I can't complain, it certainly paid it's way but I thought it was a bit selfish of it not to warn me. I mean, why did it have to pack up overnight? Why couldn't it have ... Read the complete review

We bought our brand new Beko Fridge/Freezer about a month ago, as our old fridge/freezer (an LEC), had a tiny freezer which never had anough room left, and the fridge was freezing things in parts and the whiole thing was dripping like crazy. Also, the seals were totally shattered, and the doors never shut properly. So, you could say it had seen ... Read the complete review

We live in a village and have 2 children, so figured it was best to have a spare fridge and freezer in the garage full of food to reduce the number of car journeys to stock up (plus mum was buying!). Although there is a small village shop, the nearest supermarket is over 2 miles away. We found the Beko fridge and freezer in a local superstore, ... Read the complete review
