A well made machine which does everything you need from a quality brand.

We've had this fridge freezer for almost a year, it took a few days of reading review and searching the internet to find one we liked the look of and had a few useful features.
The classixx range from Bosch is nearer the bottom of the selections from them but still has the same great built quality but without all the functions and light displays etc.
This model has a nice split of freezer to fridge allowing a large amount to be stored in both. There is only the two of us and its probably just about the right size, I believe its 60/40 split.
The plastics in the fridge and freezer are of a high quality not becoming brittle when cold and still take some abuse when the draw falls out.
      Things to know are:
-The shelves in the fridge can only be moved so far, the cooling air at the back restricts height selection. I'm 5'8 and the top shelf is a bit high for me.
-the door pocket on the fridge is tapered and really doesn't like a 4pt of milk sideways. likewise for all the door shelves, the curve really isn't good.
-the door pocket in the freezer is useless to use, nothing fits in it except a ice cream. Where talking about a inch deep a nagnum in its plastic just fits.
-the middle draw of the freezer is huge with a removable shelf for ice cubes.
-the top and bottom draws are not full depth, the bottom one being half and the top being around 2/3.
The freezer temperature is separate from the fridge and controlled by a button at the top of fridge while the fridge is controlled by a classic dial, the middle is perfect for us it will easily freeze your milk if you over do it. The freezer is not the most powerful in the world overloading the freezer will mean it takes along time to freeze everything down. Again a super freeze type button at the top helps things moving in the right direction after a big shop.
The handle can be moved to the other side but its not a simple operation and Bosch unsurprisingly recommend they do it.
Running costs are low and its very quiet in operation when it does come on.
Overall a good fridge/freezer which has some good reviews from consumer mags as well.
