Advantages: Reliable, water-dispenser, portable, clean
Disadvantages: Not easy to clean water dispenser
Bought this fridge for about £300 from a retailer that has now unfortunately gone out of business. The fridge has small wheels on the back edge so that it can be moved easily, even when it is full of food. The doors are light to the touch but close very positively. There is also an electronic function on the top front of the fridge which tells you the temperature of both the fridge and the freezer- it's more of a gimmick than any real use. The quality gets only four stars as the trim for the fridge handle fell off in the shop while we were looking at it. Other than that the build quality is very high.
Inside the fridge there is lots of room. There are very big and wide, clear plastic shelves which are easily removed for cleaning. There are also a couple of door shelves which are very study. There is also a massive drawer at the bottom for storing all your fruit and veg! The built in water dispenser is very good. It will hold about 4 litres of water and has a built in BRITA filter which is quite easily replaced. It is recommended to replace the filter every month but with only 2 of us in the house we usually get about 6 weeks use out of each one. The only negative about the water dispenser is that part of it is permanently attached to the fridge and therefore is quite tricky to clean.
The freezer section is also quite large. There are 2 very deep drawers which are big enough for most things and a smaller 'quick freeze' drawer at the top. Haven't really used the quick freeze feature yet. The freezer is supposed to be frost free and after having the fridge-freezer for a year it is! There hasn't been a single bit of frost.
Overall the fridge-freezer is very good and so far has been very reliable.
Summary: Excellent fridge 5/5

- 15/04/09 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A good start here.
If I was in the market I'd like to know if its physically big - easy to get to the controls for example? Is it easy to clean out and for the price aside from the handle falling off, are the shelves/boxes made to a good standard in your opinion?
Updat ing your review isn't compulsory but by adding more user experience of the product, you would be informing future buyers rather than elaborating on the features alone.
