Hoover Frost Free Fridge Freezer ... have recently purchased the hoover nextra fridge freezer it as great refrigeration space with 3 movebale shelves that are easily cleaned, the freezer compartment as 3 draws however they are not very deep so fitting pizzas in becomes a problem. it also as a drinks dispencer on the front which makes this product look good however after just 8 weeks the plastic round the button that you press that dispences the water as started to split which is quite disappointing after a short period of time , i have not spoken to hoover yet about this problem but when i do i will let you know what they say. this product is not suitable for large families as the capacity is not that big... Smeg FAB30 ... bought a Smeg Fab 30 a few years ago as I loved its retro styling and ratio of freezer to fridge. Unfortunately within 12 months we had to replace the glass shelving at £12 per shelf. Not ideal but we thought we were just unlucky. So imagine my delight when I needed to replace them again a year later. I contacted Smeg and the shelves now cost £48 per shelf. It is ludicrous to think that for the cost of the replacement shelves, I could buy a new fridge! I asked Smeg if there was any reason the shelves kept breaking and they asked me what I was putting on them!!! Bosch GSU23421GB ... had been a long time since I purchased a freezer as my current one was very old. In fact, if I didn t retire it, it would have been due a long service award. After much deliberation the only one that looked a possibility was the Bosch Logixx. I already had a fridge in this range and was very pleased with its performance, so I paid my money and it was duly delivered. I have not been disappointed with my decision. The majority of freezers tend to have wire baskets which I don t particularly like, however the Bosch Logixx has plastic drawers.
