Siemens KG32U193GB ... I had my kitchen replaced 18 months ago I really wanted to make it special. A. because I have to spend a large portion of my hometime there and B. the cost of kitchens being what they are, I m going to have to put up with it for a very long time! So after a lot of internet searching I found this fridge (and incidentally the W/M to match). The unit is a metallic charcoal, the interior is very well designed and spacious (with MICROBAN to prevent mould build up) and best of all its frost free. The 4 drawers in the freezer compartment are solid so if you get a pea spillage they are contained in the drawer and not in the bottom of the compartment. There is a bottle hol... Zanussi ZEBF255 ... moving into our house we were on the look out for a good fridge freezer..obviously. We came across the Zanussi-Now priced between £370 and £390 avalible in electrical stores such as currys and comet, also in argos. Seemed the perfect choice. It is..Its a nice size for three of us, we have an 18month old baby so have to store a lot of bottles, pre made foods etc and there is always room for that plus the ton of soft drinks we like to keep chilled! And the obvious ham, salad, veg etc. Its a big fridge freezer but is very slimline and doesnt like some give the impression of taking over the whole kitchen! Smeg FAB30 ... few months ago we returned from a week away to discover our 4 year old Bosch fridge freezer had died. I had filled the freezer to capacity before going away to ensure we would not have to shop for a while on our return. All was ruined. Luckily the fridge was empty but the smell on opening the door was not pleasant! Our local engineer confirmed its death, citing the compressor as the cause. We were informed that it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge freezer than to have it repaired. I trailed around the local electrical showrooms to see what was available.
