Hoover Frost Free Fridge Freezer:
... have just purchased a Hoover FK 394PW fridge freezer. We were replacing a Philips which was nearly 20 years old. Chose this model because the PW stands for Pure water..get your filtered water from the door of the fridge. LOvely machine..had to leave it stand for 12 hours before connecting to let the gas settle. has menu on front door and has different settings...even tells you if you leave the door open. ... Hoover HVA300K ... NOT buy a Hoover Fridge/Freezer. GIAS (Hoovers after sales "care" company) are a nightmare to deal with. You have to chase them again and again to get anywhere. I purchased a Hoover fridge/ freezer and after only two months it broke down and had the be topped up with gas. After another two weeks it failed again. GIAS agreed the product needed to be replaced but four days later I am still chasing for a delivery date. I have been told that I may need to wait up to 10 days !! The "care" staff do not seem to find it is unreasonable for us to be almost two weeks with no refrigeration !! ... Read the full review: HOOVER by montyf |

Bosch GSE28421GB ... have owned a Bosch freezer for five years and it has been the best freezer I have ever had. The equivalent model now is the GSE 28421 which appears to be even better. My freezer has a net capacity of 210 litres/7.4 cu. ft. and an EC efficiency rating of C. The GSE 28421 has a slightly larger capacity of 225 litres/7.9 cu. ft. and an energy rating of B with annual running costs of £26.32. When we replaced our kitchen I decided to have a built in larder fridge and a separate free standing upright freezer which would be located in the new larder area of our kitchen extension. Zanussi ZF57W ... bought my Zanussi upright freezer over a year ago and I love it. It has sturdy drawers, which I haven?t managed to break yet. That alone is a first. OK, it?s just plain white instead of sci-fi silver or lurid luminous green, yellow, pink etc. I like white. It goes with anything and I can see when it?s clean. I also like a lot of storage capacity, but don?t have space for a chest freezer. Full marks to the Zanussi again. It?s a great medium sized freezer. Our kitchen is not overly tall so a fridge-freezer is a bit imposing, as are the larger uprights. This model is perfect. It?s amazing how much you can fit into it. OK. To the serious stuff.
