Swan SR5095 ... recently decided to buy a new fridge/freezer, as my old one was starting to look tired and also had always been a litte too large for my small kitchen. My fridge/freezer also had quite a small fridge and a large freezer, and I always found I had a lot of room spare in the freezer compartment, as I do not buy masses of frozen food, but the fridge was always full. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CHOOSING A FRIDGE/FREEZER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bearing the above in mind, I was looking around for a fridge/freezer that wasn t as tall as my previous one, and also one with a larger fridge and smaller freezer. LG GWB227WLQ ... s ...Whatever Happens Insurance Policy. I m sure there is a category slot for that one, but my point of mentioning this service is how I came about owning this beast of a fridge. A long story involving a broken TV and reading the small print I found myself in credit with Curry s to the tune of £600. I was the unhappy owner of a tall freestanding white fridge freezer that needed regular defrosting as the fan in the freezer kept stalling and freezing. Out of warranty, no insurance on it. The decision to buy : I wanted the side by side design I know it s the American lifestyle thing (and watching too much MTV cribs) that attracted me, but more than that doesn t it... Bosch Exxcel KGH36X51GB ... about a month where it all kicks off! First our family owned HD-less Sony TV starts to make strange sounds and smells; the 20 year old Sky box needs replacing with Sky Plus; our boiler needs more than a service (a kick would probably sound its death knell), our 15 year old Bosch oven turns its on and off intermittently, my Hometek Steam mop refuses to steam and our 15 year old much loved and well-cleaned Electrolux fridge freezer door has cracked at one side making it difficult to close the freezer door and presents a health hazard.
