Beko CA7015FF
by craigjulie2006
We have now had our Beko Fridge/Freezer for almost two years. It's proved itself to be reliable and we think really good value for money. We bought ours from Littlewoods for £499 - however there is money off in the sale and its now £389. It is very modern in the silver, however it also has a white option. It is originally taller than i ... had imagined, but its still easy to reach all the shelves, and i am 5ft 4ins.
It is very stiff to pull open for those sneaky little fingers who might want to help themselves to a midnight snack! Comes as standard with a great 2L water dispenser, which is very handy as your water is always kept cool.
It is A class energy efficient and frost free so no need to be chipping away at ice! There are a few little snags in my opinion though that pull my rating down a little. We have found a lot of condensation build up in the fridge compartment, which is due to a constant blockage of sludge in the channels. I looked this up and you have to plunge the little hole to clear the channel, then it seems to be ok again - for a short while! I do find I have to do this a lot.
There is a great fast freeze large top drawer, but all the doors on the freezer seem to be very flimsy. My second drawer tray has actually cracked.
Overall a great fridge freezer, with more than enough capacity for a family of four. Read the complete review |

Beko CA5411FFS

We brought this Beko fridgefreezer from Comet for £269.99. I have just had a look on the website and it is actually on sale right now for £249.99 with a years free cover so if you're interested then I would snap it up now :)
I am very happy with this fridgefreezer, it is silver and actually looks really nice on the outside. ... The outside of it also wipes clean really easily so this is a bonus. When it arrived I was a little dissapointed at how small it was at a width of 54cm, depth of 60cm and height of 152cm but it actually fits in a lot more than we were expecting, we can fill the freezer with enough food to last a couple weeks although as there is only 2 of us it would be unrealistic to say it would do the same for a family. The actual fridge capacity is 4.8.cu.ft which is apparantly 138L gross capacity and 133L net capactiy and the freezer capacity is 2.2.cu.ft, 101L gross capacity and 62L net capacity. There are 3 freezer drawers and 2 fridge shelves. The fridge also has a bottle rack in the door, an egg tray, salad crisper, dairy compartment and adjustable door storage, the freezer has an ice cube tray and an ice bank tray so there is quite a bit of room when you put it all together.
The fridgefreezer has a few features such as frost free, a single compressor, automatic fridge defrost and reversible doors and I have never seen any evidence of these things not working.
For those worried about their carbon footprints then this has an anergy efficiency grade A, honestly I'm not sure if thats the lowest or highest because I don't take as much interest in those things as I should but the informarion is there if you want it :)
I love this fridgefreezer as it fits perfectly in the space I needed it to and it it works absolutly fine. I have never encountered any problems with it and the drawers and compartments in both the fridge and freezer can be removed in seconds which makes it very very easy to clean. Hotpoint RFA52S
by Apple_Review
I have moved into a new house and am currently using this fridge-freezer. I have previously been skeptical of using a combined fridge and freezer, but I am very pleased with this one so far. I must say that Hotpoint seem to make excellent kitchen appliances and I would highly recommend them based on this. This fridge freezer cost almost ... £300 but is a rather large one, which would easily contain food for a family of four or perhaps 5.
The top half of the appliance consists of the fridge, in which there are three main shelves with two drawers at the bottom. The drawers slide out very easily but I do find they are lacking a bit in capacity. You can fit some fruit and vegetables in the drawers, but if you have a lot of these, you will struggle to fit them all! This means I have to leave some fruit outside the fridge, which is fine in itself.
The shelves are pretty sturdy and do come out so you can adjust their height. The one thing I found with this fridge is that the top part doesn't contain a shelf with spaces for bottles to lie on. Sometimes this specially designed shelf can be annoying as it's quite bulky. On the plus, it would mean that bottles are kept more sturdily in the fridge with less chance of falling out. However with the lack of these, I actually find that it conserves the space better and you are still able to place bottles on the shelves as long as you do so carefully.
The shelf in the fridge door is quite large, which means you can fit several bottles of condiments and your milk and whatever in there. There are two more compartments above for things such as eggs, cheese and perhaps pieces of fruit that you wish to finish later. Overall it's quite spacious.
The freezer part is pretty good too. Here, there are four drawers with the bottom one being the largest. They are quite deep and you can fit quite a lot in the freezer. It works very well and there has been no frost build up yet, although I'm sure this is helped by shutting the freezer door whenever you can if you aren't going to attend to it in less than 10 seconds or so.
This appliance has automatic fridge defrost as well as fast-freeze functions. I have only used the latter so far, in which you place your items in the fast freeze drawer, and I am quite satisfied with the time that it will freeze your food in, being a matter of 2 hours or so.
This combo is definitely worth taking a look at. It has been very reliable so far. It does seem to grunt sometimes and make odd noises, but I'm pretty sure most fridge-freezers do this as they work to control the temperatures inside. The fridge is well lit in a dark room if you are heading down for a midnight snack and I can't think of any major faults!
