Fish and sea greens, plankton and protein from the sea!

Advantages: Good value. Nice to look at. Low energy consumption
Disadvantages: May not have a high enough capacity for some families.
In yet another shameless take-up of the current double mile awards on certain categories, I humbly submit my review of our fridge/freezer.
Our old workhorse had seen better days. The handle to the freezer compartment was taped on. There were cracks in several of the plastic drawers. The white finish was starting to look less James Bond tuxedo and more Rab C Nesbitt string vest. It even spent its time sitting in the corner muttering incomprehensibly. It was time for it to go.
There were many deals around at the time. We knew what we wanted. Something with a silver finish, a low energy rating, trusted mark, greater capacity and no bloody handles!
The Hotpoint FFA52S was the answer to our search. It was no wider than our outgoing model, so it would fit where it needed to. It was taller, which meant an extra shelf in the freezer and taller shelves in the fridge.
With an energy rating of A, the silver glitter of the Hotpoint hums quietly as if rather pleased at the way it looks. The finish is slightly sparkly, but feels to the touch (grainy) as if designed that way for years of handling.
It happily takes a weeks worth of frozen stuff for our family without complaint. Being frost-free, it is no longer an expedition into the artic interior in order to retrieve something. There's even a quick freeze button on the top in case you really, really want a cold beer quickly. The extra capacity in the fridge is also welcome, with the ability to stack higher than before.
If Tom has a flaw in his character, it is that he gets quite upset if the fridge door is left open more than thirty seconds and starts to flash his light like a polite cough. Excuse me, but Sir appears to be a blithering idiot. Might one suggest that the bloody door should be closed?
I can recommend this fridge freezer. We're certainly happy with it. The general workmanship is very good, and that extends to the drawers and design as a whole. With no handles, that's one less thing to need replacing and we feel as if this one will be around for quite some time.
We bought through appliances online for just over £300. Their service was excellent and the old machine removed carefully and quietly.
