My daughter has just moved house with her fiancé and they are renting in town, it's a nice place and comes partly furnished which is reasonable for the rent they are paying, but one thing they didn't get in the house was a fridge freezer and thee can be quite expensive so you have to shop around to get the best deal.
My daughter wanted a fridge freezer which was in silver as it matches the décor of the kitchen
The fridge freezer cost her £380 from Curry's and they charged £10 for delivery and they took away the old fridge and packaging for her. I thought it was a little expensive as a white fridge freezer of a similar make was a lot cheaper, but it wasn't me making the purchase and my daughter and her fiancé are both young and have good jobs so they can afford it.
It is a free standing frost free fridge freezer ( try saying that after a few bevy's) .
I like the frost free freezers as they are no hassle and well worth the money of not having to de-frost every few months. I have one and have never looked back.
This one has lots of space inside with the fridge at the top and three shelves in the fridge as well as shelve in the door for milk, eggs, butter, juice and other small things. It's very roomy.
It is quite too as I hate it when fridges make a loud buzzing noise, but as its free standing you have to level it so that it runs quiet and you can't have it right up to the wall, you have to leave a gap of about two inches away from the wall its up against.
Its an energy rating of A which is very good and economical and the freezer compartment are large o you can tuff lots of packages in there, the one I have only fit small packages so I can't get large pizza' in it. I'll have to book some space in my daughters freezer for pizza nights lol.
When you buy a fridge freezer you have to position it and leave it for 24 hours before you use it as the gasses have to settle.
On the whole I like the fridge freezer they bought, the user manual is easy to understand it tells you how long you can freeze things for, but to be honest, I paid £100 less for my white one which is a different brand and does the same job just as well, o paying for a different colour fridge freezer isn't really economical, but hey if you can afford it, why not.
