Flawed design but good capacity (Hotpoint FF200E)

Advantages: huge and cool icecube makers

Disadvantages: ices up internally poor door compartment design

Thanks to the previous reviewer we avoided calling out someone to fix the fridge almost exactly 2 years after we bought it. it iced up and the fridge stopped cooling food, the freezer appeared to carry on working. It was a case of emptying the freezer and removing a 18x2x5 inch block of ice behind the back panel inside the freezer compartment. I've just turned it back on and so far so good. You do need a long Philips screw driver to take the back off.

On the plus side it is a huge fridge, and I like the ice cube trays in the front of each compartment of the freezer. The doors also hold quite a lot, but this makes them heavy and they do have a habit of swinging and hitting the wall - our trick is to put a magnetic soft toy to take some of the impact.
another design fault is the dairy compartment - if you forget to close it it hits the inside of the fridge with a painful sounding crack.
overall good capacity but poor design.

Summary: I would have bought another model if I knew then what I know now!
