Advantages: Lots of space and never needs defrosting.

Disadvantages: Sounds like the tardis coming in to land with periodic cracks.

The Hotpoint FFA97 is a very spacious fridge freezer that has lots of handy compartments for the various food storage needs, but it has a slight drawback that i will get to later.

In the fridge there is plenty of space in for whatever fruit and veg you want to put in there as well as a very large chiller area at the bottom. The door space in the fridge is very adaptable with movable compartments that can be altered to suit whatever you need to store there.

Moving on to the freezer I find that the size of the freezer is more than sufficient for a months worth frozen goods (this include a number of joints of meat) in addition to an entire draw full of homegrown frozen veg.

There is however a drawback and this is that When the freezer enters its self defrosting mode, which it does this quite often (generally a few times a day, i don't know exactly how often as i have not timed it) and when it does it it makes a noise akin to the tardis coming in to land followed by a loud crack. After a while you get used to it and only hear it when the house is silent, but if you are considering getting this fridge freezer combo i would strongly recommend listening to it defrost to decide if you can live with the noise it makes.

Summary: A good fridge freezer with lots of space that never needs defrosting but more than a litle noisy.
