Hotpoint RFA60S ... I love this fridge/freezer and I ll be sad to see it go. Let me explain: When we moved house, the kitchen already had integrated appliances so we stuck our fridge/freezer in the shed until the integrated appliances broke down. We then used our own fridge/freezer but we ve decided that despite being great and faultess we need the space so we ve gone for an under counter fridge and freezer (Hotpoint as we now know it s a great brand). We re giving our fridge/freezer to a friend who s helped us a lot with works in the house. I know this may sound daft but I kind of got attached to this fridge/freezer. Hotpoint FFA97 ... fridge freezer is especially tall and a little imposing within a small kitchen, however, this does mean that it is very spacious. The are 2 large drawers for fruit and veg, a large chiller section (although the manual doesn t really explain what this is for), good shelving space, which are adaptable, and the door shelves are a good depth with plenty of space. The freezer is also of a good size and I find I have never actually filled it completely. There are 4 deep drawers. The fridge freezer is very easy to use and is pretty reliable. HOWEVER! Hotpoint RLA34 ... bought this fridge partly becase I trusted the name. The fridge is very spacious and the vegatable draw at the bottom is huge. I was a bit concearned about having glass shelves as my previous fridge had wire shelves but so far I haven t had any problems and the glass is easier to keep clean. When you split the centre shelf the half shelf left is a bit to small to be any use so it is easier to keep bottles or taller items in the door. My only real complaint is that the temperature control is on the outside which although convenient is much too inviting to little fingers.
