As much as the idea of living off take away every day appealed to me, our budget wouldn t quite be able to stretch to that so we had you do some heavy duty shopping. One of our major purchases for the kitchen was this Hotpoint FF187E fridge freezer. Well technically we bought the FF187EG - which is the exact same model only in graphite, rather than white (it is also available in satin aluminium, which is probably the colour you d get if you were to mix white and graphite together). This fridge is the Hotpoint RLAV 21, a Hotpoint Iced Diamond fridge in Polar White This is a white freestanding fridge with no freezer compartment. . This freezer stands83.6cm tall it is 54.6cm wide has a depth of 60 cm. the net capacity is 127 litres. Open the door it opens on the right, I do not think this can be changed to open the other way. Inside there are 2 glass shelves and a basket for fruit /veg at the bottom it is possible to stand something on the glass top of this basket below the two shelves effectively giving 3 shelves. Hotpoint FF200 ... is the worst fridge freezer i have owned , we are on our 3rd it is frost free and because of it we have to put up with cracking and banging noises all the time. It cost us £470, its very bad. The door even fell off when i opened it once and we had to have guy out to fix it. We have had three as i have complained endlessley about the nosie from it and it still makes it. I actually think the last one we had the 3rd was 2nd hand as it looked as though someone ekse had had it, but of course currys told us it was brand new so theres not alot we could do. Very bad !
