My family are Irish so we must do our best to keep up the "all Irish people drink Guinness" stereotype. I'm not much of a drinker at all ( he says beginning a review about an alcohol themed fridge ) but my dad does like a Guinness every now and then. And when I do drink I will partake in a can or two ( try saying that sentence after a can or two )
The best thing about this not so mini fridge is how much it can actually hold. It can take up to 40 large cans. Plus nobody will arrest you if you put in anything else, such as wine, soft drinks, snacks or chockies, it's like having your very own mini bar by your side at all times.
I bought this for £100 at the beginning of November.
The very well know Husky branded fridge came in a big box, not much larger than the fridge itself but with enough room to ensure it was very well packed. From the time I plugged it in and stocked it up to the max it took less than two hours to chill everything perfectly. This fridge has a high quality feel to it. The door feels strong and heavy, yet it floats on it's hinges. The clear glass panel that makes up the entire front of the door let's you see what you want before you open it up. This results in less time staring into the fridge with the door swinging, letting out the cold air and warming everything up by letting the hot air in. The door can be hung either side, which is great for not only right or left handed people, but also for where you are going to position it in your room of choice.
When it's running beside me ( I have it down by the side of the sofa in my living room ) I can't hear it at all with the TV going. And with the TV off it makes very little noise at all it's almost silent. It has an impressive 48L capacity, has a fully removable single interior shelf. Importantly it has a fully controllable five setting thermostat, so if you like your drinks less than ice cold you can fiddle with the easy to use setting.
Size wise it measures "44cm width x 52cm height x 49cm depth."
The Guinness design is all over the body of the fridge and looks great, but of course this won't be to every body's taste ( just like the drink itself ) Husky do a large range of mini refrigerators, so you should be able to find one that suits you, if this isn't your style.
The overall design is exactly like what's on the cans, deep black with the distinctive Guinness font and Logo depicted on a larger than life pint.
We are without a doubt getting great use out of this high quality appliance. And surprisingly 90% of the time it's full of goodies rather than alcohol.
So what ever you use it for, goodies, baddies, or naughties, I highly recommend this great Husky Guinness Mini Refrigerator.
Thanks for reading :0) 2night.
