I brought the Indesit Fridge Freezer for the kitchen at home, in April 2013 this year. The Indesit Fridge Freezer is white and matches the kitchen units in the kitchen. I brought the Indesit Fridge Freezer for £269.10 from Littlewoods on credits order which involves 52 weekly interest free payments. Littlewoods deliver the Indesit Fridge Freezer directly from the manufacturer.
The Indesit Fridge Freezer is very beautiful and looks amazing in the kitchen! The Indesit Fridge Freezer has an internal light and temperature regulating knob on the right-hand side of the top part of the fridge. The settings of the temperature knob run from 1 to 5, where 1 is the warmest and 5 is the coldest. There are three shelves in the fridge which have ample space between them. There are two fruit and vegetable bins in the Indesit Fridge Section. There is also a useful compartment for a two litre bottle on the bottle shelf which is located on the bottom, behind the fridge door. Behind the fridge door, there is also two removable shelves (one which is multi-purpose and the other is a removable lidded shelf with an egg tray and butter dish). The freezer has three storage compartments and one freezer and storage compartment.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Indesit Fridge Freezer is easy to clean with a sponge and I make that the Indesit Fridge Freezer is switched off before I do this. The Indesit Fridge Freezer was installed by the engineer sent by Littlewoods and we were told not to switch on the Indesit Fridge Freezer until after three hours after the installation.
There are some safety measures that have to be observed for the Indesit Fridge Freezer. For example, in the manual it mentions that Indesit Fridge Freezer has to be placed in a well ventilated and humidity-free room and the rear fan grills must not be obstructed. Another example, mentioned is that the appliance should be earthed. The Indesit Fridge Freezer has a warranty of 12 months from purchase and the parts are guranteed for five years.
I would definitely recommend that you buy the Indesit Fridge Freezer and it has many storage spaces and is good value for money.

After having my kitchen all done out I decided I needed to get a new fridge freezer to suit my new kitchen, after browsing on the comet site I found this one for £279.99 with free delivery and also had a years free warranty.
It is quite a slim fridge freezer at just 54.5cm its height is 174.0cm so its not as big as some fridge freezers you may see. This suits me as my kitchen is not really that big.
The fridge comes with two glass shelves which are pretty good to store most things on with in the fridge. Then you have two salad trays which I store chocolate in and all sorts, so they do not just have to be for salad. The side of the door, has large door tray that will hold up large bottles or milk cartons. You can store quite a bit in this compartment, and then you have a smaller draw tray that I find is ideal for a few jars of things. Then you also have an egg tray just at the top of the fridge.
The freezer also holds quite a lot of frozen food with four freezer drawers, which most only have three drawers, so it is bigger than what most freezers would be, until I saw this I was going to buy a chest freezer, but now I do not need to as all my food fits in easier. The drawers are really easy to use, and with an auto defrost on it, then it is always ice free. There is also a rapid freeze that you can use if you want to freeze you food quicker, but I have never actually used this, so I am not too sure how well that works.
Well the the freezer having an auto defrost the freezer never takes much cleaning, so I just give it a little with a damp cloth now and again and its job done. For the fridge this is another easy taste, all the shelves come out so I just take them out and give them a wash in the sink and place them back in, you could just wipe them with a cloth though as they do clean pretty easily. I just clean the inside out with a damp cloth and a little bit of disinfectant spray and its all sparkling and clean again.
This is actually pretty quiet and I never hear much noise coming from it even when I am in the kitchen, so you will not be annoyed by the loud sounds of this as it does not have any.
My overall opinion
So far I have had no problems with this fridge freezer and it does the job that I bought it for, it is really easy to clean out and its quiet too. The storage space in it is also really good too. I can fit all my weekly shop in this and still have some space left.
Also it does have reversible doors so that it can be placed somewhere that you might not be able to place it, just by changing the doors around, which it does tell you how to do this in the instruction manual.
I would recommend this to buy, it may be a little on the pricey side but it is a really good fridge freezer.
I bought this fridge-freezer in January, in the sales. I bought it from John Lewis, because they offered to unfit our previous fitted appliances and deliver our new ones.
The customer service was excellent, helping us choose the right fridge freezer for our needs, and they pointed out that it might be cheaper to get a handyman to do the unfitting, and waited while I checked that out. On the day itself, there was a little disorganisation, as I hadn't realised there would be two teams coming, and the delivery team phoned to say they were running about half an hour later than expected. Happily, that was perfect as our old dishwasher proved to be a bit of a nightmare to remove.
On to the fridge-freezer. We chose this one as it's quite tall and has a lot of fridge space without compromising on freezer space. The door can hang either side, and I just had to say which way we wanted it to open. The day before delivery I got a phone call to confirm which side I wanted the door hung. Inside, the freezer has two drawers and two shelves with fold-down doors. The fridge has generous in-door compartments, including an egg tray and the ability to move the three shelves. It also has three main glass shelves and two large salad drawers, again the inside shelves can be moved according to requirements.
The fridge performs excellently both when full and with less stuff in it. I've not had any problems with food that's kept near the back freezing, as I have in other fridges, and there is in any case a temperature control so I can keep it warmer when we're away and not going in and out all day. I've removed one of the door shelves so that I can keep tall bottles in two shelves, but if I wanted smaller items in there, I can imagine three would be useful. It's also extremely easy to clean, just a bit of vinegar on a damp cloth over the inside and it's sparkling like new again.
The freezer I've been less happy with. The two fold-down drawers both fell off quite a lot, and ended up getting broken, so I just have open shelves as well as the two drawers. The top shelf has a turbo-freeze option, which I thought would be great for freezing fresh goods, but sadly there isn't an 'off' switch, so it ends up icing up all the time, meaning that I have to defrost the freezer a lot... every couple of weeks we end up removing ice just so the door will shut. The lower drawers are excellent though, and if they were all like that I'd be very happy. In particular, I like that there's an ice cube tray built into the front of both lower drawers, so my ice cubes don't take up extra freezer room.
In general, I like the fridge, and I would buy Indesit again, but next time I'd opt for a frost-free model and I'd avoid the fast freeze shelf option.
