The Indesit SAN400 is a good fridge for the money. Bought as part of a pair with the Indesit UFAN400NF Freezer, we were delighted with the modern, clean look in our kitchen. We needed to change our tall (new!) fridge freezer, because my mother's osteoarthritis made her shrink from an already 'vertically challenged' 5ft, to under 4ft 9ins - and she couldn't reach anything in the top fridge. Paid £290 for an Indesit SAN 400 fridge, it arrived very quickly worked well for one week then cold on the bottom two shelves only whilst the top shelves got really quite warm 10/11c. Phoned Indesit who arranged for engineer to come almost a week later, on the morning he was due he phoned us to say he would not be able to fix it and would arrange an uplift and replacement. One week later we are still waiting and after phoning Indesit today have been told at least another 10 days. One of the reasons we chose this model is because of Indesits reputation, well never again this will be our last Indesit purchase! Take my advice and look at alternative models.
