      I love my fridge freezer

When I bought my first house back in July 2009, I had to buy everything from scratch. Having a narrow but long kitchen I needed a Fridge Freezer as i didn't have room for seperate appliances. I decided to splash out and use my savings to buy something a little more expensive and more pleasing on the eye and opted for this LG Fridge Freezer.

Look-wise it is very attractive as far as fridge freezers go having a shiny black finish which matches the colour theme to my kitchen and other appliances I already had. It is fairly minimalistic with two slim handles on the left hand side to open either the fridge or freezer. There is a small control type panel at the top of thew fridge which shows the temperature. One of the main features is that it has a water dispenser to the front of the fridge.

I did initially want a slim fridge freezer with ice dispenser but sadly found this was usually only on huge American style fridge freezers, so at no extra expense i opted for this design with the water dispenser. You simply push your glass in and the water comes out. Not much mroe to say! To refil you open the fridge door and there is a white large container which simply lifts out. It recommends you don't put carbonated drinks in.

Inside the fridge is pretty much like any other. There are four shelves to the main part of the fridge along with a full size pull out drawer on the bottom shelf which I use for my fruit and veg, which has a handy seperator which is moveable. There is also a smaller drawer on the left hand side of the second shelf which is designed to keep things fresh, with the symbols showing cakes, but I tend to stick more veg in thi (being vegetarian I go through a lot!) The shelves are clear plastic but feel very strong and sturdy and are really easy to clean.

In the door of the fridge there is your usual compartments; 2 at the top have clear plastic lids which slide up which I use for cheeses and Tofu. Underneath are two sections for eggs with egg stands, there is the water dispenser and next to it a place which holds my Milk and Fruit Juice. All are really useful compartments.

The freezer has 3 large draws which hold loads of food. Above them is a slim drawer which I use to keep Pizza's and ice cubes in. The drawers have clear plastic fronts with white trims which again are sturdy and easy to wash. My bottom shelf however does keep popping out the front of the drawer as my partner always fills it to full!

Overall I have had this fridge freezer for 18 months and had no bother from it whatsoever. It looks really expensive and maybe at £579 it is! It does looks great and matches my appliances and you can get cashback from various cash back sites. I never realised LG actually made fridge freezers and only knew them for mobile phones, however I love the sleek look of my fridge freezer and it fits in an aweful lot of food. I would definitely back this product again.
