I vowed to myself today that I would write a review for this freezer, after I had my kitchen floor covered in freezer shelves and various frozen food packets this morning, having found some bargains for the freezer at Tesco and trying to find space for them while the "open door alarm" on the freezer was sounding.
This fridge-freezer is enormous, over six foot high. The fridge is far too big and I doubt the freezer capacity is enough for an Eskimo who hangs all his fish up outside his igloo.
There is even a larger version (fridge - four shelves, freezer - THREE and a half shelves). That freezer has a decent capacity and the fridge is STILL far too big.
But the capacity of THIS model is all in the fridge, where it is useless.
I wonder if this fridge is meant for a family tackling obesity by laying off the frozen pizzas and making up for it by guzzling cola from the fridge?
In the KFN8452SD there is a "massive plastic bottle rack" which just fits massive 2 litre plastic cola bottles and is actually far too big for white wine.
I bought Miele to match my washer-drier and TBH it is big and white and that's it. I wish I'd bought a cheaper Zanussi with a decent-sized freezer and a smaller fridge!
