It's a fridge/freezer - nothing exciting, but it quietly does it's job...

Advantages: Capacity, Quietness
Disadvantages: Half a drawer in the freezer section
We bought this fridge freezer after we realised that our old one just didn't have the capacity needed for the both of us, plus a youngster. Plus our old one had lasted for years (and had been moved from house to house several times) and we felt it was time for a change.
When looking for a new fridge freezer, I would definitely recommend that you go out to a few retailers just to try them out and have a look at their insides - as despite several manufacturers all claiming the same capacities, there was a big variance when you actually opened the doors. We took note of the model numbers we liked, then went online to find the best deal.
The first thing we noticed about this unit was the noise - or lack of. Our last fridge/freezer hummed and buzzed all night (and we sleep above the kitchen), but with this, we weren't even sure we had it switched on, despite the rather cool blue display display telling us the temperature (which can obviously be adjusted)
The fridge part of this unit is fantastic - it has four interchangable shelves which are easily removable and cleanable (always good when you have a baby/toddler in the house - suddenly everything has to be cleaner!), and ours came with a free wine rack which fitted nicely (although we removed it to make room for other items).
Some of the fridges we looked at had much larger refridgeration units inside which actually reduced the capacity, but this has a very slim column at the back which only really affects the top three shelves. It has two fairly large drawers at the bottom which we use for veg and chocolate (you always need a chocolate drawer).
The shelves in the door panel are also very good and height adjustable - the bottom shelve was wide enough and the second shelve could be made high enough for a 2lt bottle of coke to fit in easily - when we looked around, it was amazing how many you couldn't acheive this in.
The freezer section is OK - the tray at the top is handy for ice cubes, but you can also fit smaller/flatter items like frozen lasagnes in it for quick access. The top freezer drawer is only half a drawer (the back of it is taken up by workings). We are lucky enough to have another chest freezer anyway so we weren't too bothered about this, but it could be annoying. The drawers are very easily moveable though and we haven't noticed any 'sticking'. I've managed to put my back out before trying to open the drawers in our chest freezer!!
Price wise it is also not that expensive compared with other models. I am pleased to say that I have never had any issues with Samsung goods breaking either and I am sure this will stand the test of time.
Summary: Does what it does - quietly
