      An okay fridge freezer...... Sometimes!

      ~*~*~ Servis M7055/6S Fridge Freezer ~*~*~

Around three years ago I bought this model freezer from ebay for the grand price of £16, I had to collect it from around 15 miles away from my home but it was needed and well worth it at the time.
In my old kitchen we had a space, meant I think for a fridge freezer to sit in. I wanted a silver one as my washing machine and cooker are both silver/graphite in colour and when I came across this I put in a bid and hoped for the best.
At the time I had a small car, a Corsa and I knew there was more chance in Hell freezing over than getting a fridge freezer in that car, but luckily my dad has an estate and as I am insured on his car and vice versa I asked him nicely if we could swap cars for the day so I could pick it up. He wasn't best pleased I must add as my car had some lovley pink glittery stickers on it aswell as pink seat covers but I did assure him he wouldn't look too bad in it! ;o)!

So getting to the sellers address my hubby was dismayed to find that they lived down about 30 steep steps! Luckily for him there was a man there to help with the heavy lifting! It looked in great condition and after getting it in the car and paying for it we drove home.

We also lived in a house that had 20 steps leading down to it but I had to help with the carrying this time and was surprised by just how heavy the fridge freezer was, I had no idea they were THAT heavy!

We got it into the space in the kitchen and it actually fitted in perfectly and looked great. We left it off and open for the first 24 hours (or a little less) for it to 'settle' and whilst waiting I gave it a good clean and inspection.

The body of the fridge freezer and doors are silver in colour and the handles are a shiny chrome coloured plastic. The fridge handle sits at the bottom and the freezer handle at the top of the doors so the meet perfectly.
The fridge is on the top half and the freezer the bottom. The fridge is nice and big, with plenty of room and space for your food and the freezer has four shelves all with flip down doors apart from the bottom one which is a pull out drawer.
Inside the fridge you will find two salad crisper drawers with a ridged lid on top that stops bottle from rolling around and then two glass shelves on top of this. The door houses three trays, the bottom being suited for bottles of milk and the like and the top two are shorter, theres an egg tray in the one and a cheese box in the other. I felt it had plenty of room for everything and everything had a place.
The freezer was a bit useless if I am honest, the seal was a little bit worn so it needed defrosting a lot, the doors would stick and my heavy handed hubby broke two of the flip down doors! I didn't really find it had much space either and you couldn't really fill it, I lost count of how many times I have over shopped and not had enough room for the food in the freezer!

The overall look of the fridge freezer was very nice, very sleek with it's chrome coloured handles and strips along the doors.

It has however broke, and we no longer have this fridge freezer, it decided to give up the ghost about 3 weeks before Christmas and all of our frozen stuff was defrosted and the fridge was no longer cold either. I wasn't bothered really about the fridge as we have an under counter fridge but being without a freezer was a killer! We managed to replace it however with a large chest freezer so for me things actually worked out better. In the new house we haven't really got the space for a big fridge freezer in the kitchen so I don't feel we have lost out by this breaking.

When it worked it was brilliant and it did look really good.

      The approx dimensions are ~

      50cm wide
      55cm deep
      165 cm high

      Thanks for reading :o) x
