Cheap and nasty. This machine broke down two days after the guarantee ran out. It is very very expensive to fix. The boards that control the temperature and ice box are near impossible to locate and come at a premium when you do find them. The bulbs for the fridge are between £5 and £12 to replace.Yes it's cheap to buy, but lasts a couple of years then cost the earth.

We bought this for less than £600 in a sale so for an American style fridge freezer it is pretty cheap. The selling point for us was the capacity to have iced water and ice on tap. This is invaluable. The ice can either be in cubes (although these are in fact shaped like fat slugs!) or crushed which is a great feature. We used to spend a lot on bottled water and now we mainly use the fridge. The fridge itself is very roomy; four shelves which are adjustable, two very deep vegetable/ salad drawers and four compartments in the door which are actually designed to be at a useful height.
