Zanussi ZEL140W

We have 2 fridges in the staffroom at work one is a Zanussi ZEL140W. This fridge is used mainly to store milk for the staff teas and coffee we buy lots on Mondays and this fridge keeps it fresh till Friday.

I must admit I was surprised to notice that one of our fridges was a zanussi product as they are not the cheapest. Zanussi however are a reliable make. Zanussi was founded in 1916 by Antonio Zanussi. In Italy. In the 1980’s zanussi became one of Electrolux’s companies. Electrolux was formed in Stockholm in 1912 and now is the owner of many electrical product companies including Zanussi.

Back to the Zanussi ZEL140W.

I looked on line to see the price and found it unavailable at a lot of sites (perhaps its no longer manufactured. But at empire direct.co.uk I found it for £128 + £34.99 delivery.)

The w at the end lets on this is a white fridge. It is a free standing fridge ours stands under a work surface. The fridge is 85cm tall 49.5 cm wide has a depth of 60 cm. this fridge is CFC and hfc free

So come with me while I take some milk out to put in my cup of tea.
I open the door it opens to the right. I think you can reverse this and open to the left if you want to.

There is no freezer compartment in this fridge. . There are 4 glass shelves plus a salad chillier box at the bottom of the fridge.
In the door are the dairy compartment 3 slim shelves to store cream, milk or other products.

This fridge would be fine for a small families needs but a bit small for a large one.

The interior is easy to wipe over and keep clean. I had to last week as something got spilt and I was the lucky person who discovered it (or had a conscience to keep it clean) equally the outside just needs an occasional wipe over.

From my experience with this fridge I would say it was fine.
I am not sure how old it is its possible it is about 6 months old as our school is new opened Easter, but it is possible that this fridge was in the old school that was demolished.
