The Zanussi ZNB404 is a white frost free fridge large capacity fridge freezer which is currently sitting in my kitchen; it is also availble in silver if like me you want your kitchen accessories to match your kitchen, however you should expect to pay more for the silver model. Large capacity means that it has a large capacity space for food. This Zanussi models is 'A' Energy efficiency rated which means that it is much cheaper to run and is also kinder to the environment, as well as being CFC and HFC free.

The reason we decided to go for such a large fridge freezer when there is only John and I is because I like to make my own soups and jams using home made produce as far as I can and once ive made them then I need storage space and for me this fridge freezer provides that. When we looked into purchasing a new fridge freezer we did look at those lovely American Style ones with the ice decanter on the front, but due to their actual size, they are huge, they just wouldn't fit into our kitchen, whereas this model to give the exact specifications is 595mm wide and 632mm in depth and in height it is 2010mm, so it is big and slim but has a large depth.

To look at this fridge freezer you will find the actual fridge compartment on the top and the freezer compartment on the bottom and each has its own door. In the fridge section there is a salad draw at the bottom which actually holds quite a lot of food and it easily glides in and out of the fride, there are two glass shelves to store your food one and because they are glass if you spill anything you can clean them very easily because they simply slide in and out, however they are quite heavy so be careful. Now the bonus for me with this Fridge freezer is the inside wine rack, within this fridge there is a rack for you to store upto 5 bottles of wine and this can be found under the top shelving compartment, you can also store smaller bottles of fruit juice if you havent got any wine, and there is also space for you to store eggs on the left hand side in its own compartment and as you would expect to find there are two further side compatments to store your water jug, cheeser and bottles of milk and anything else you find necessary to store in the fridge.

The freezer compartment is made up of 4 separate draws and they are huge and certainly store a lot of food in them, the manual states that you can put your 30lb turkey in for christmas.

As I have said before this fridge freezer is frost free which means there is no build up of ice within the freezer compartment that means you have don't's have to spend hours defrosting the ice and there is also an LCD temperature control which tells you at what temperature your food is being stored at, it is easy to read and clearly displayed.

When we bought this Fridge Freezer we were also told that it is companyt policy that all Zanussi refrigerators have 4 star freezer compartment, which means you can store frozen food for up to 12 month and that includes fresh foods. So again for me and my home produce this was even better news.

When I bought my Zanussi fridge freezer we bought it from MFI for the bargain price of £385 and if you are shopping around today you can expect to pay a similar price. I definitley reocmmend this fridge freezer to anyone who is wanting that little bit of extra room in their current model.
