... conventional appliance again I guarantee! Apart from the obvious lack of defrosting which has to be the most mundane of all jobs ever, this has to be the best fridge we have ever had. For me, storage was my number one priority since i wanted a huge fridge and freezer and all the ones I looked at either had a large fridge with 2 drawers of freezer space if you were lucky or vice versa. The Zanussi however is roomy on both counts with the added advantage of a deep door shelf that you can fit more or less anything tall in. It also has a built in drinks dispensor which takes a bit of getting used to since it can be quite fiddly at first to put back in! I would say ...

... first major household purchase, many years ago, was a Zanussi Fridge Freezer...it worked with no problems for a long, long time and then died quietly, taking only a 2 litre tub of cornish ice-cream and a packet of frozen peas with it.... As a replacement, I now have a Zanussi ZFK 56/52RF...and I rather wish I didn't! This model is quite sleek in looks, classic white in colour and with integral handles in both the fridge and freezer, it looks good. It is a frost free model and I cannot recommend too highly, that if you can possibly afford it, frost free is far better than a model you need to defrost yourself...no more having a freezer out of action for hour...
