Logitech Harmony 525:
... me start by saying I brought this because one of my remotes broke and the company wouldn t replace it, this was also the only one in the shop. It looks good and once i got it set up it has replaced all of my remote controlls but it took me a while to figure it out. The CD that came with mine wasn t an updated enough version so I had to download the latest one from the website but I did try the CD a few times an... Read the full review: Why buy? by Rick_Views |

Logitech Harmony 525 ... purchased this remote around June 2008. While I personally would probably just own a TV and use the remote that comes with it, my partner insists that to enjoy TV we really need surround sound and a media centre PC and that three remotes is a nuisance - so we have a universal remote instead. The Harmony 525 is much smaller than the remotes we ve owned previously - the number of buttons required has been massively reduced using an LCD screen with programmable buttons, so anything that doesn t map to one of the basic keys can be programmed in there. The unit itself looks good - shiny black and matt silver plastic - and feels solidly made. It s survived a fair few k... Read the full review: Bring some Harmony to your life by Astavar |

Apple Remote ... Apple remote comes with a small range of Macs such as the Mac Mini, but is usually not included with the range of laptops including the Macbook and Macbook Air. You can buy the remote separately if you wish, for around £10.00 online somewhere such as amazon.co.uk. I wouldn t recommend buying one unless it s included with your computer as it doesn t have many functions and is only ideal for parties or events. The remote is white and rectangular shaped with round edges. Along the front is a black infrared panel. On the upper face is a circular dial, similar to that on the eldest iPod Shuffle. In the outer circle, there are + and - buttons on the top and bottom along wi... Read the full review: Expensive & Useless by DocDan3 |

Apple Remote ... I popped onto the Apple website the other day and started playing around with configuring a MacBook, I got a bit of a shock. Once you get past the various hard drive sizes and amounts of RAM, you get to accessories. And there was an Apple remote. Price: £15. Sorry, £15? When did that happen?! When I bought my MacBook Pro just over a year ago, they chucked in one for free! And a DVI to VGA adaptor as it happens. So, is it worth the £15? Well, yes. It s actually quite a handy little thing to have. You can quickly adjust the volume of your system, pause/start any music in iTunes, as well as skipping tracks and fast forward/rewinding. Aside from controlling DVDs, mu... Read the full review: A handy feature, but at a price. by Jondot |
