Microsoft Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote:
... xBox media remote has really changed the ways I watch movies and this really comes to light when it doubles up on your PC media centre! Originally I only got the remote to have on the table next to me for when watching DVD s on the HDDVD lpayer available for about £30. It didn t feel right using a computer joypad and looked a little tacky having a controller next to the remotes! I then discovered that if you m... Panasonic DMW-RS1 ... your lucky enough to own an extremely steady tripod (the kind that costs hundreds of pounds and weighs as much as a small child,) or if your camera or lens has a decent image stabiliser, then the chances you won t really need a remote control shutter. Your tripod when used with the cameras self timer will most likely be more than enough to allow you to capture shake free photos, regardless of any environmental factors such as wind. If however, you re like me, in that you have a pretty standard tripod, and take a lot of macro photography, or photos with a high ISO or long shutter speed, then simply pressing the shutter button can result in an slightly blurred image. Microsoft Remote Control and Receiver for Media Center PC with Windows ... purchased this for in conjunction with my custom built media centre PC which I use in the living room of my flat. After having it for a few months I must say it is a must have for anyone who is using any kind of media / entertainment centre. The first thing you notice when you recieve the item is that the reciever is massive! Its not too great a problem thogh, since you can easily hide it in a conspicous place where it will go unnoticed. I use the remote with Windows Vista Media Centre ( I think thats what it was designed for), and it makes using it an absolute dream, its s... Read the full review: Best available by codename8778 |

Apple Remote ... Apple Remote is a small white device which can be used to operate a number of products made by Apple. It comes free with all new Macs, and with the desktop iMac which I own, it attaches to the side of the screen magnetically. The unit itself is incredibly small and can control play, pause, skip and volume functions. There s also a menu button for accessing things like Front Row - Apple s version of Media Center. Costing £15 from the Apple Store, the product has received mixed ratings by users. Generally, those who use it for their desktop Mac s find it useful, as it allows iTunes to be controlled from across the room. However, those who have bought this device sp...
