Apple Remote:
... Apple remote is a great thing to have if you have a MacBook or iPod dock and gives you full control over your media. The remote is very slim and only have 6 buttons on it. It allows you to control playback of music, movies, podcasts etc and is great if you are watching/listening from afar. The range of this remote is really good and the infrared signal is strong enough for me to control my iPod from across the ro... Read the full review: One Remote to control them all! by Escorcio |

Apple Remote ... Apple remote comes with a small range of Macs such as the Mac Mini, but is usually not included with the range of laptops including the Macbook and Macbook Air. You can buy the remote separately if you wish, for around £10.00 online somewhere such as amazon.co.uk. I wouldn t recommend buying one unless it s included with your computer as it doesn t have many functions and is only ideal for parties or events. The remote is white and rectangular shaped with round edges. Along the front is a black infrared panel. On the upper face is a circular dial, similar to that on the eldest iPod Shuffle. In the outer circle, there are + and - buttons on the top and bottom along wi... Read the full review: Expensive & Useless by DocDan3 |

Apple Remote ... I popped onto the Apple website the other day and started playing around with configuring a MacBook, I got a bit of a shock. Once you get past the various hard drive sizes and amounts of RAM, you get to accessories. And there was an Apple remote. Price: £15. Sorry, £15? When did that happen?! When I bought my MacBook Pro just over a year ago, they chucked in one for free! And a DVI to VGA adaptor as it happens. So, is it worth the £15? Well, yes. It s actually quite a handy little thing to have. You can quickly adjust the volume of your system, pause/start any music in iTunes, as well as skipping tracks and fast forward/rewinding. Aside from controlling DVDs, mu... Read the full review: A handy feature, but at a price. by Jondot |

Apple Remote ... bought the Apple Remote with the main aim of controlling my iTunes library from across the room on my MacBook Pro, not thinking about the iPod at all. The remote can be bought alone, or with the universal dock which will accept all iPods and enable control from the remote when plugged in to speakers or a computer. The remote opens up a new list of features when used on the Mac, pushing the Menu button opens Front Row, a menu for your music, films, photos and more. This is great if you would like to use your Mac (any Mac with an IR port) as a full blow media centre, which is perfectly possible and easy to do with a few searches online. You could connect your Mac to a... Read the full review: Great to turn your Mac into a media centre! by delude |
