This is an awesome accessory for your Nikon camera. Nowadays, many camera accessories have incredibly bland names (even if their functions are quite cool). One such example is the Nikon 'ML-L3', a tiny remote control which is compatible with the majority of Nikon's SLR cameras - I personally would have called it the 'Turbo Blaster', 'Nitro Changer' or something equally ridiculous. What is it? The ML-L3 is a Nikon original wireless (infrared) remote, designed to trigger the shutter on various Nikon DSLR cameras. This is not to be confused with the similarly named ML3 which is a wired remote and the two do not always work with the same cameras ie. the D300s will not work with a wireless remote, but does work with a wireless one. If you do anything more than the most basic of photography with your Nikon DSLR camera, the Nikon ML L3 camera remote is a great, and very reasonably priced addition to your kit bag. This handy remote allows you to easily take self portraits, or group shots, without having to worry about the timer, or get up to reset things if you want to take more than one shot.
