I don't think I know anyone who has sky and does not have a sky plus box, it seems like the norm these days to have a sky plus box, instead of the ordinary sky box.

The sky plus box obviously comes with the Sky Plus remote, which is a bit bigger than the original sky remote, but this is due to the fact that it has more buttons for the extra services you get from a Sky Plus box. On this remote you get the ordinary buttons of numbers, red, green, yellow and blue buttons, plus the Sky button, channel and volume buttons, and the other usual ones like arrows, select, TV guide etc.

The extra buttons that you do not get on the standard sky remote control are the Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop and Record Buttons. These are all pretty self explainatory. These are positioned in the centre of the remote control below the arrow buttons.

The remote control is mainly light gray with a black rubber back and sides. The back is easily detachable and and reacthable, and it is under here that you will find the batteries (AA, two of) and the model details for the remote control itself.

This remote is very easy to use, everything is labelled easily and there is also a help button should you need any help with anything on the sky box or remote. The remote will also let you know on the TV screen when the batteries need to be replaced, and this is easy to do, just pop off the back, remove the old batteries and insert the new ones, then just pop on the cover again.
