Imation SuperDisk 120MB PC Internal (IDE/ATAPI)

With the modern trend of large capacity hard drives, DVD drives and larger software programs, the humble floppy disc at 1.44 Mb is becoming effectively smaller. Despite this, it is still an essential piece of hardware on any computer. This is were the Imation Super Disk serves it's purpose. With a capacity of 120 Mb it is capable of holding many complete programs or large image files, while also being able to read and write to a 1.44 Mb floppy. Imation's Superdisk was designed to directly compete with the Iomega Zip drive. Both carry comparable ~120MB per disk capacities. The Superdisk has one very large advantage: it can also read normal high density disks (at very high speeds). It also has one very large disadvantage: no one uses them. Consequently, Superdisks have become more of a personal backup medium than a universal exchange medium.
