I still remember how we first met, she was introduced to me by a mutual friend called SMC along with a large crowd of other components who all hung out in a computer. For a while we all got on fine, we communicated well and I was proud that 103S was my DVD-ROM drive. My friends all remarked on the classic look that of course came from her connection with the respectable Pioneer family but for me her best feature was the easy access to her slot. Yes folks, she was one of those drives that didn’t wear trays and wasn’t shy about it! All that protected her modesty was a thin almost bush like strip of fibrous hairs.

Sure, I’d been with other drives – I was no ROM virgin, but 103S’s easy going nature appealed to me. With my previous girls there was to much foreplay messing around with their eject buttons to get their trays off and I just lost patience with them. I wasn’t always faithful to her though and would occasionally be found round a friends house with another drive. By now though I was so comfortable with 103S that I just couldn’t handle these other frigid drives, with their old fashioned ways and trays, so I always came running back to her welcoming slot.

And how was the reading? Boy, I’m telling you it was great! I’d never had reading like it before, I’d just insert into her slot and we’d be off at a great speed straight away. She had no objections to anything I asked, she never decided something was to kinky or dirty. She’d let me insert with DVD films (Not always romantic either!), Audio CD’s, backed up CDR’s, CDRW’s full of items from another drive (Although it wasn’t exactly free love, we did use protection – after all, you never know where another drive has been!) and of course data CD’s. She swallowed everything like a pro, no problems! She used to do this cute thing when she got excited. It was less than a scream but a bit more than
a satisfied whimper – not silent, but not too loud either and you certainly knew she was enjoying herself when she started gently shaking!

It was about a month after I first inserted her that we started going through a difficult patch together. Yes ladies and gentlemen, together! The crowd of components she hung out with started being difficult. I don’t know why, maybe they were jealous of the intimate nature of our relationship, maybe they resented the amount of time I spent with her or maybe they just weren’t nice components. Whatever the reason, they were giving us hassle. I called on the mutual friend, SMC, to intervene but all they did was cause it drag on longer and longer. Months and months this went on and still she stuck by me, her slot ever willing for another insertion. It was the best service I’d ever had from a ROM drive, normally they tend to reach their menopause and loose interesting in reading altogether by the time they’re one years old but 103S was going like a trooper, it felt good, I felt I’d finally found a drive I could spend my life with happily.

But no, ever am I cursed to be on a search for happiness it seems. See 103S got ill, she turned into a moaner (I’m sure all you worldly wise chaps out there know what I’m talking about). Whereas in the old days when our relationship was still fresh I’d suggest I stuck a Need for Speed in her slot and she’d readily agree, eyes shinning because she knew what was coming next. Not now though, I’d insert into her slot and instead of the happy noise she used to make she’d just moan – she was gaining inhibitions now. “Let’s play Need for Speed 4” I’d say. “Zzzzzzzzz. Click! Click! Zzzzzzzzzzz” she’d moan and then slowly begin reading, some folks may like it slow and sensual but personally I like it fast and quick. Of course, it started gradually – over the last yea
r of the two years we spent together she gradually started moaning more and more. By the end she was openly showing disgust for many data CD’s and some she abhorred so much that no amount of cajoling would allow me to have any fun in her slot. Although even on the day I dumped her she still loved to have Audio CD’s or DVD’s inserted but that wasn’t enough for me, she was getting old and no longer satisfied me. So what did I do? I left her and started dating her sister, 106S.

I never said I was a nice man.
