Verbatim DataLifePlus Printable CD-R 700 MB 52x ... "Verbatim" a name you can trust in media storage. I always use these to record mp3 s on for my car CD player. As you can imagine they go through a lot of abuse in my glove compartment...but somehow they still play with no errors or skips. So light everyday scratches will not be a problem. As these are printable, you have a large white blank area to write down the disc contents. Writing on the CD has been error free always. I have had no coasters (bad discs) even at the max writing speeds. I usually leave the disc "open" which allows me to add music to the CD on occasions more than once - I have done this over 20 times and still there are no... Iomega Zip 750 MB ... remember purchasing my zip drive when they first were released. In those days 750mb was like a hard drive...so I ran out and got one. These discs have an estimated archival life of about 10 years. They are reliable, I never had any problems with errors or anything and have reused the same disc many many times. I ve never had to throw away a disc due to any errors or anything. They average at about £10 per disc, which these days is very expensive if you calculate the price per mb. Look at it this way a DVD is 4.7 GB and these days you can get a spindle of 25 for £10. Which will you go for £10 for 750mb (Zip disc) or £10 for 117.5GB (DVD-Rs)? The choice is simple. S... Verbatim DVD-R 4.7 GB 8x ... I first purchased a DVD writer on my computer I wanted DVD media which I know were reliable. The name firstly "Verbatim" is seen as being really reliable as their research suggests that data has an archival life of about 100 years. I have used these DVD s for over 2 years now, and I have not had a single coaster (bad disc) they have always worked with no errors. I m using a NEC ND3500A writer. These DVD s come in a variety to choose from; either a printable top, or a silver top branded with the "Verbatim" logo and a few lines to write down the contents of the disc.
