Perfect to put your movies on

      Imation DVD+R 4.7 GB 16x

I might use the Philips CD-R 700 MB 52x to put on my music but when I want to put a movie on a disc I'm using the Imation DVD+R 4.7 GB 16x. The reason is very easy because a movie doesn't fit on a CD of 700MB. The Imation DVD+R 4.7 GB is of course also perfect as back up and with 4.7GB i have enough to back up my most important pictures and documents.

Every DVD comes in his own small DVD box of plastic which are of a good enough quality. Just be careful that you don't sit on them because then they will break but for normal use they are fine. It's the same story with the DVD itself. It's a good quality disc which doesn't seem to break easy and I think I burned my first Imation DVD+R 4.7 GB about a year ago and it stills work perfectly. Just be careful with any scratches because that may effect the performance of the DVD disc.

One DVD offers 4.7GB space which means you can store around 1500 pictures of 3MB size or around 1000 mp3's of 4,5MB. But of course you can also put a movie on the disc. One whole movie should fit perfectly on the disc. I use the program Nero and that program converts the movie file into a DVD disc without any problems. The writing speed is 16x which means you can burn a disc in around 16 minutes you when you making a DVD with normal files. If you are converting a movie file into a movie DVD with Nero then it can take longer since Nero has to convert the file into a DVD. Depending on how big the movie file is, this can take up to 1 to 1,5 hours to complete.

I get these DVD's around 5 pounds which I don't really think it's a bad price. You get good quality discs which work for me on any device I put them in. I use them on my computer but also DVD player and I really don't had any problems with them.

So next time I'm in the need for DVD's I would definitely consider these ones!
