I only purchased a pack of these Intenso CD-R disks as I was keen to record something and they were the only type left on the shelf. This pack of 40 disks retails for around £10, which is a little more expensive than other packs of a similar size.
The disks are stored on a central spindle, and both disks and the spindle are encased in plastic to prevent damage. I have always found the presence of the spindle to be a great help, as it is so convenient for storing the disks and preventing them spreading out all over my desk. I also reuse the spindle to store CDs that I have already recorded music on to.
The disks have a capacity of 700MB, and a recording time of 80 minutes, which is very acceptable. The disks are compatible with most devices, and I have never encountered a device that would not play one of these disks I had burned music onto.
Similarly, the disks are very durable and even after a lot of use, having sustained some superficial wear, they are dependable. There have been a few occasions when I have had some skipping and stalling, but on inspection I have discovered this is probably more likely due to smudging on the surface of the disk rather than it being of substandard quality.
I have always found these disks to be of good quality, and easy to burn music on to. I do feel there are better value packs on the market, but I would recommend the Intenso disks as a worthy substitute.
