Very high quality discs and highly recommended

These are the most expensive DVD's I have ever bought costing around £25 per tub of 100 but the good news is, you get what you pay for. The audio playback is superb in every way, very high quality 128KBps+ MP3's sound sharp, refined, and lower bass frequencies don't wobble or loose sound quality. I have added the title Rolls Royce of blank DVD's because they cost a bomb but are of very good quality.

Where burning is concerned these are error free discs and rarely have problems. Below i have included a list of buffer under run errors for a few discs to compare these:

Buffer Errors according to Nero Buffer Under run protection:

      - about 8 times on Tesco DVD-R's (See my review for the horror's of these discs!)
      - about 3 times on Amazon DVD-R's
      - usually less than 3 times on Traxdata, Verbatim etc
      - 1 or none on RiDisc & Datawrite RED/YELLOW

The data hold is almost exactly 4.7GB all but about 2MB on each disc so bear this in mind when running right up to the limit to avoid over burn which will completely destroy your disc. The files have never corrupted or suffered data loss and are generally"safe" once burned onto these discs. Build quality is good with none of the logo's or ink on top of the disc peeling away or simply melting itself off in a hot dvd drive.

I have never experienced any issues with light surface scratches, they offer good reliability when they do get marked and are easy to read in a DVD drive when they are damaged. They can take a beating and small knocks wont damage them, or shatter the disc.

Video playback is very good with the picture looking sharp and crisp. Video quality is not ruined just by being burned to the disc, audio quality while watching a movie is very good too,no issues with loss of audio or the audio being too quiet.

The burning speed of these DVD's is <16X and burning right up to the speed limit (as i like to call it) does not cause any buffering issues, again you don't need to burn at a slower rate in order to get good results. The discs are easily readable again by any DVD drive and reading speed is no better or worse than other brands. You are paying for the quality of AAA+ discs.
